Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers

  • Drive supplier qualification, audits and ongoing performance management

  • Define supplier quality expectations, KPIs and reporting (PPM, capability, delivery)

  • Partner with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations on NPI, change management and risk mitigation

  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers

  • Establish and continuously improve supplier quality strategies using tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC and PPAP

  • Lead and grow a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring supplier performance meets Graphcore’s standards for quality, reliability and scalability as we ramp production of industry-leading AI systems.

Candidate ProfileEssential
  • Proven people leadership experience in supplier or manufacturing quality

  • Deep experience in semiconductor or high-tech hardware supply chains

  • Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, control plans and VDA 6.3

  • Experience leading structured root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why)

  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, global engineering environments

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field)

Desirable
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience

  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~20%)
