Position Objective:
Our mission is to partner with surgeons to restore patient health by delivering innovative technologies of unsurpassed quality.
As our Senior Supply Planner, you will be the critical link between demand forecasts, production schedules, and on-time delivery of life-changing medical devices. Your work will ensure that surgeons, clinicians, and patients receive the product they need exactly when they need them. You will balance supply chain efficiency with the unique demands of this regulated manufacturing environment, directly contributing to company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own Supply Plan Feasibility: Own the development and maintenance of a feasible supply plan aligned to demand, capacity, and inventory strategy. Reconcile gaps between demand and supply, declare infeasibility with quantified impact, drive action owner(s) to resolve gaps for a plan that delivers customer global requirements.
- Lead Supply Review Role up: Own SIOE as primary control point for supply feasibility and execution alignment. Lead the weekly forum to drive alignment across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Planning on capacity constraints, supply risks, inventory positions. Ensure clear decisions, owners, and actions exit each cycle. Ensure unresolved gaps are elevated to S&OP Supply Review with clear decision requirements.
- Planning Scenario & Risk Ownership: Develop and present scenario options (capacity, inventory, allocation). Quantify trade-offs across customer service level, operational cost, and supply disruption risk. Identify and escalate single-source exposure, capacity constraints, and inventory buffer reliance.
- Executive S&OP Interface: Own supply input into S&OP, present supply scenarios, risks, and recommendations to leadership, and ensure alignment between operational reality and commercial assumptions.
- Cross-Functional Decision Alignment: Drive alignment with Operations leadership (capacity commitments), Procurement (supply continuity), Commercial via S&OP (demand assumptions), Customer Service (global allocation priorities).
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of supply planning or production planning experience, ideally in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills are required
• Experience in S&OP, scenario planning, cross-functional decision-making
• Experience in developing Power BI reports, or other analytical reporting applications, and aptitude for learning new analytics / supply chain systems
• Understanding supply chain principles, inventory management, demand planning, and order management
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data driven decisions under time constraints
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and GMP requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering
