As a Sr Supply Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations for the Process Technology business unit. You will leverage your expertise in supply planning to develop and implement strategies that optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand efficiently.

 

You will report directly to our Director Planning COE and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Rosemont, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.

 

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate supply planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will support the seamless supply of products, contributing to the success and growth of the Process Technology business unit.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

  • 1st shift Monday - Friday 
  • Center of Excellence role supporting Process Technology planning:
  • Support the transformation of processes, technology & personnel to adapt to the new planning processes & Advanced planning system environment.
  • Assist supply planners globally with skills development and troubleshooting for Kinaxis and SAP IBP
  • Assist supply planners in current APO tool improvements until Kinaxis implementation
  • Partner with the business planning team as the subject matter expert to drive standard processes and ensure adherence to the Honeywell Global Design Model for Supply/Inventory Planning, fully utilizing the Kinaxis Maestro planning tool within your business.
  • Support and drive a positive working environment and culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization to achieve the best possible outcomes from the supply/inventory planning teams.
  • Support the development of the supply/inventory planning teams through training, coaching, and mentoring to increase their skills and capability in readiness for internal progression and succession.
  • Relocation support may be provided 
Qualifications

You Must Have

  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management, or other Sales Inventory and Operations Planning related functional areas
  • 3+ years of Proficiency with Supply Planning tools such as Kinaxis Maestro, SAP IBP, BlueYonder, O9 Solutions, Anaplan, OMP with a strong ability to leverage these tools for effective supply planning.
  • 3+ years Experience in managing supply plans, inventory levels, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand and business objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory optimization strategies specific to complex industrial environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

We Value 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems and Kinaxis Maestro supply and inventory planning tools.
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPE certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and comfortable working in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives

The salary range for this position is ($159,000 - $199,000). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
