Job Summary
The Senior Supervisor Supply Chain at Primoris Services Corporation will lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support various construction projects. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and process optimization to meet company objectives.
Job Responsibilities
* Supervise and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, including buyers, logistics coordinators, and inventory specialists.
* Develop, implement, and maintain robust supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
* Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract management and performance monitoring.
* Oversee inventory management, including forecasting, stock levels, warehousing, and distribution to project sites.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment, coordinating with project managers and other internal stakeholders.
* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as material shortages, price fluctuations, and transportation delays.
* Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships that support long-term company goals.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
* Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the construction or related industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and achieving cost savings.
* Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, inventory management, and logistics.
* Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management systems).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are a plus.
