The Senior Supervisor of Primary Care oversees more than one primary care clinic. One or more Supervisors of Primary Care report to the Senior Supervisor. The Senior Supervisor’s responsibilities are to assure that the primary care clinics are managed to TTC’s standards of quality, financial performance, and customer service.
Oversees and coordinates the administrative work of Medical Doctors, mid-level providers and other clinic staff with aim of providing excellent customer service, high quality care and high patient satisfaction.
2. Assures compliance with quality standards published by HEDIS and HRSA for Federally Qualified Health Centers.
3. Ensures that patient data is captured and recorded accurately.
4. Assists in developing policies and procedures for primary care and assures implementation.
5. Monitors work of Primary Care staff for accuracy and completeness.
6. Completes and submits productivity and quality reports to appropriate personnel and committees as required.
7. Attends community-based meetings with government entities and other providers.
8. Coordinates interaction between Primary Care and other programs, departments, and sites.
9. Regularly monitors work of staff through random audits of clinical records for compliance requirements.
10. Responsible for establishing standards for hiring and training on none clinical areas Primary Care staff.
11. Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews of Primary Care supervisors.
12. Collaborates with outside providers to assist with referrals to Primary Care.
13. Participates in marketing TTC services as needed.
14. Develops effective outreach programs and materials for attracting particular categories of patients.
15. As appropriate, involved in the hiring, retention, education, evaluation, discipline, timekeeping and overall competency of Primary Care staff and consultants.
16. Developments of systems to streamline, manage, monitor responsibilities, and evaluate overall functions and activities of Primary Care.
17. Attendance in supervisor level agency wide committees and meetings as indicated. In absence of Director leads supervisory and other department staff meetings as needed.
18. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Primary Care or Administration.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare or healthcare-related organization.
