Consumer Banking & Lending's Payment Strategy team is seeking a Senior Strategy and Planning Consultant to help shape the future of Wells Fargo's payment products, including debit, wires, and Zelle. In this role, you'll lead strategic initiatives across pricing, customer segmentation, product development, and competitive intelligence. You'll work as a trusted partner embedded within the CSBB organization, guiding business decisions and influencing how we deliver best-in-class payment experiences for our customers.

In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Payments Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to large scale planning related to Payments Strategy & Planning
- Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities
- Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
- Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
- Resolve moderately complex issues
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Help with competitive analysis and track Payments industry trends
- 4 years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in market strategy, business development, or related roles within the financial services industry
- Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to drive strategic decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and ideas to diverse audiences
- Experience in project management, strategic planning, and execution of cross-functional initiatives
- A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively across teams and functions
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, customer behavior, and market dynamics; understanding of the Payments industry (e.g., debit, credit, networks, stablecoins) is very beneficial
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
