The Opportunity: Senior Strategy Advisor - Strategic Deals (German speaking)
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Senior Strategy Advisor to join our Strategic Deals team. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a trusted digital transformation partner, helping enterprise clients in the DACH region align their strategic priorities with Iron Mountain’s Software as a Service (SaaS) and digital solution suite.
The Strategic Deals team is a high-performing group of digital solution strategists and deal architects focused on Iron Mountain’s most complex, multi-product opportunities exceeding $3M in contract value.
Operating within a global, matrixed structure, the Senior Strategy Advisor collaborates with Account Teams, Digital Operations, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to ensure a seamless, customer-first experience and to drive forward the adoption of our new digital platforms.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Lead the design and execution of strategic analyses (qualitative and quantitative) to support large, complex SaaS and digital transformation deals.
Partner with business leaders to accelerate strategies and operationalize initiatives for key strategic accounts, with a focus on platform adoption and digital outcomes.
Drive customer engagement through strategic ideation workshops that surface pain points and co-create solutions enabled by automation, AI, and SaaS platforms.
Act as a trusted thought partner by providing data-driven insights, industry research, and competitive intelligence that influence both customer strategies and Iron Mountain’s roadmap.
Shape bespoke SaaS solutions and commercial structures, balancing technical capabilities with customer business objectives.
Champion the adoption of DXP 2.0, helping customers embed the platform into their workflows to maximize efficiency, compliance, and business value.
Build deep relationships with senior leaders at client organizations and across Iron Mountain to guide critical business decisions.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, or technology consulting, particularly in designing and scaling adoption of new solutions.
Proven success leading both strategy and execution in a technology-focused or consulting environment.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to move fluidly between qualitative insights and quantitative data.
Industry research and competitive analysis skills to align Iron Mountain’s SaaS and digital offerings to evolving customer needs.
Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills—able to translate digital/technical solutions into business impact.
Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a balance of strategic and tactical thinking.
Ability to collaborate effectively across a global, matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.
Business fluency in German and English is essential
