WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Senior Sourcing Analyst, we’re looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial person to manage unique sourcing and cost planning activities within our US domestic source base. Having the ability to focus on process improvements. The ideal candidate will provide a proactive approach to bring multiple stakeholders together and thrives in a cross-functional environment. This role is perfect for a teammate with product creation and manufacturing experience with exceptional communication skills. Having the ability to influence, collaborate, and create consensus is a must.
The candidate needs:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Planning, Operations Management, Product Creation or Manufacturing.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise mindset
- Strong analytical skills married to a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain effective in an environment of ambiguity, and have strong attention to details
- Highly collaborative with proven ability to work with various stakeholders, both internal and external, with multiple competing priorities to create a shared vision
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be responsible for the key uniform segments made exclusively for competition athletes, working with the triad to build the appropriate source strategy and ensure you execute to that strategy. You will help review and confirm our factory pricing falls within acceptable levels in terms of product cost and complexity and work back with stakeholders to resolve unexpected variances. This role will also help provide sourcing and costing support for key events like the Olympics.
The role entails:
- Creating and executing the Sport sourcing strategy
- Managing the cost planning and cost review process to ensure profitability
- Provides project support on seasonal initiatives
- Contributes to best practices in processes and operating models
- Understand global and regional (USA) sourcing process from strategic sourcing to seasonal execution
