Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to assigned clients by delivering data-driven insights, consultative guidance, and product expertise that support informed decision-making and long-term value realization. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges, strengthen client adoption, and influence product and service enhancements while advancing organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic advisor and primary point of contact for assigned client relationships, fostering trusted partnerships and driving long-term product adoption and value realization.
  • Lead client engagement by delivering executive-level, data-driven insights, facilitating strategic discussions, and providing consultative guidance aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Analyze healthcare data, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into strategic insights that support client decision-making and organizational initiatives.
  • Customize analyses, reports, and deliverables to address complex client needs while demonstrating advanced product capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Strategy and Management, Data Operations, Sales, Service Delivery, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex client challenges, influence product enhancements, and improve the client experience.
  • Guide clients in improving the quality, completeness, and strategic use of their data to maximize product value and analytical insights.
  • Monitor client utilization, adoption, and performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, business outcomes, and product utilization.
  • Independently resolve complex product, data, and client issues by applying sound judgment and collaborating across internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, delivery methodologies, and client-facing resources while contributing to training materials, best practices, and organizational knowledge.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by mentoring team members, supporting account growth and client retention initiatives, and participating in strategic projects that advance organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Population Heath, Public Health, or related field preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare analytics, product advisory, client consulting, or strategic decision support required.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data, including claims, state data, market analytics, or related healthcare datasets preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into meaningful business insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences and facilitating strategic client discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships, independently prioritize competing demands, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive client success and operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor colleagues while contributing to team capability development.
  • Willingness to travel appropriately 10-15%.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
