Yext is looking for a Senior Strategic Partnerships Director to establish new strategic partners across LLM providers, publishers, co-sellers, and complimentary technology companies. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven hunter who has built and expanded diverse partner ecosystems and delivered measurable revenue impact through high-quality partnerships. This individual contributor must demonstrate executive presence and the ability to reach influencers and decision-makers at leading organizations. We are looking for someone who can collaborate across teams at Yext, especially working closely with product leaders, sales teams, and client success teams, to ensure value alignment and adapt to changing priorities and market environments. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of developing partner strategy, aligning with sales motions, and executing a disciplined and consultative go-to-market approach that creates value for both Yext and its partner network and ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, source, and secure net new strategic partners that expand Yext’s ecosystem (LLMs, strategic alliances, technology integrations, service/delivery partners, and agencies).
- Develop and execute a partner acquisition strategy that prioritizes high-quality partners who will drive material business impact.
- Build relationships with senior executives to structure effective joint business & go-to-market plans
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, and customer success) to align new partnerships with company growth objectives.
- Develop strategies and create comprehensive business plans for potential partners, demonstrating clear mutual value creation (joint go-to-market opportunities, co-selling, co-marketing, integrations, and strategic synergies).
- Manage the end-to-end process of engaging new partners — from initial outreach and relationship building through negotiation and contracting.
- Work closely with product partner and strategic alliances teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and handoff for long-term relationship nurturing and growth.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive landscapes, identifying opportunities in areas such as AI/LLMs, agencies, and vertical-specific ecosystems.
- Consistently open doors to net new opportunities that support our short and long-term vision
- Promote Yext at ecosystem events and conferences
What You Have
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances in SaaS, cloud, AI, or enterprise software.
- All candidates, who may not have the above-listed years’ experience, but can demonstrate the necessary skills, may apply and will be considered
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing net new partnerships that delivered measurable revenue or strategic value.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior executives at potential partner companies.
- Excellent business acumen, with the ability to build joint business cases and identify win-win opportunities.
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable operating in a hunter capacity with autonomy and accountability for results.
- Methodical Go-To-Market approach, high level of daily discipline and open for coaching & feedback.
- A track record of success in indirect or direct selling business applications and complex solutions to enterprise customers
- Ability to travel for business

- Experience building strategic partnerships with and/or selling into LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, LLaMa, Grok, etc.)
- Familiarity with search, knowledge management, digital presence, online reputation management, or marketing technology ecosystems.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
