As a Senior Strategic Operations Manager, you will ensure that Mudflap’s operations are running efficiently, with world class customer experiences, and develop strategies for Mudflap’s future products. The Senior Strategic Operations Manager is a cross-functional champion that works across different teams and products at Mudflap. They are a versatile operations generalist who will focus on using data to drive business insights, optimize non-product functions, and drive forward new product offerings and/or growth.
Expectations (In this role, you will):
- Develop merchant strategy in partnering with truck stops and strengthen network and offering to drivers for fuel discounts, merchant offers, and overall truck stop experience
- Lead operational OKRs and KPIs for the merchant network, which will drive positive engagement and usage across Mudflap
- Leverage data and analysis to develop growth strategies and execution plans to optimize Mudflap product offerings and address business problems
- Optimize and execute merchant tablet, collateral, & onboarding processes, including inventory management and collaboration & coverage with internal hardware resources, merchant outreach teams, and vendors
- Develop and operationalize processes and functions to manage outreach to merchants, address systemic issues, and optimize merchant and product offerings
- Collaborate across teams to scale operations, optimize functions, and improve workflows and processes
- Scale best practices across cross-functional teams & merchants and bring to the table new ideas and methodologies to prioritize the work of our merchant teams, in their day-to-day and with an outlook for the medium and long-term
- Work closely with internal account management and partner success teams on technical projects and integrations, including transactional, truck stop, and vendor data
- Present recommendations and results to management and key decision-makers
Experience (What we look for):
- 4+ years experience in tech operations, project management, and/or business analytic roles
- Strategy Builder: you can quickly understand business dynamics and company priorities and build a strategy and execution plan for merchant network success
- Analytical Skills: you can develop actionable insights from complex data. You have experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization tools. You are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets and SQL. Experience with Tableau, Python or similar is a plus
- Process Champion: you have experience implementing end-to-end workflows and processes from scratch for new, future products and existing operations
- Operations-minded: you find a way to get the function done and prioritize streamlining and improving processes
- Collaboration: you are a strong cross-functional partner and are comfortable working across multiple internal and external teams
- Communication skills: you can communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing
- Merchant Technologies: you are comfortable with technology and able to quickly grasp the intricacies of our CRM, internal products, and partner technologies.

The salary range for this role is $137,000 - $185,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives.
