VideoAmp is the tech-first measurement company transforming how advertising is valued, bought, and sold. Powered by currency-grade big data and a best-in-class technology stack, our platform gives advertisers, publishers, and agencies the ability to plan, optimize, and measure media investments across every screen — from linear TV and OTT to CTV and digital video.
VideoAmp is accelerating investment in agentic AI and intelligent optimization technologies — helping clients drive measurable, real-world outcomes in an increasingly complex media landscape. With 880% year-over-year measurement growth, 98% coverage of the TV publisher ecosystem, and partnerships with 11 agency groups and 1,000+ advertisers, we're not just keeping pace with the industry — we're defining what comes next.
We believe great work requires great people — people who say "I'll find a way" instead of "it can't be done."
We are looking for a Manager of Strategic Finance who will play a critical role on a team that combines strategy, analytics, and financial analysis to enable VideoAmp to scale successfully. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, this role will accelerate the sustainable growth of our business model by identifying relevant investment opportunities, the economic effects of key decisions, and associated trade-offs.
You will be responsible for providing strategic recommendations supported by rigorous analyses to drive executive decisions tied to investments, capital allocation, business transformation, pricing, and unit economics — with direct exposure to the CFO, CEO, CRO, and investors.
The right person for this role is accomplished in finance, business strategy, and analysis, and is ready to support the objectives of a highly cross-functional, fast-growing organization. If you're passionate about finance, technology, and the advertising space — this role is for you.
- Drive strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights through reporting and ad hoc analyses (e.g., scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, contingency planning).
- Build and maintain 3-statement corporate financial models, understanding VideoAmp's unique business lines and supporting fundraising initiatives.
- Define, track, and report critical KPIs and financial results to help evaluate business performance.
- Research and develop forecasts addressing market dynamics and key industry trends.
- Support pricing, profitability, and commissions analyses, including assisting with determining commissions achievement and payout levels.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and support functions including FP&A, Accounting, and RevOps.
- Provide in-depth financial due diligence analysis in potential acquisitions or investments (including quality of revenue, operating KPIs, earnings, and working capital trends).
- Support special projects to improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
- 3–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and/or Corporate Finance, preferably with a background in Advertising and/or Technology.
- Strong experience navigating complex data sets and building sophisticated financial models.
- In-depth knowledge of financial statement structure, dependencies, valuation, and analysis.
- Ability to iterate fast and thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task across a shifting workload.
- Ability to tackle unstructured problems and business signals and build strategic frameworks and financial models from scratch.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a highly cross-functional environment and develop strong rapport with senior and executive leadership.
- Strong academic background with an aptitude for quantitative analysis.

What We Do
We believe every human on the planet should have the option of free access to the world’s information and content. In many cases this belief is powered by a three way value exchange between a publisher producing free content, a consumer consuming it and an advertiser paying the publisher for the chance to connect with its audience. The underpinning of this value exchange relies on having an independent auditing, measurement and optimization layer to power the transaction between the advertiser and publisher. Today the industry standard tools for advertising and media measurement and optimization are usually designed where increased personalization, higher advertising return on investment and increased publisher revenues often comes with negative trade off for consumer privacy or security risks of leaking private data. We envision a world where this doesn't have to be the case - a world where consumer privacy, security, and governance are incorporated into the fabric of the codebase while enabling the necessary business use-cases to effectively keep the world’s information and content free for everyone. VideoAmp’s mission is to create software and data solutions to enable advertisers to accurately measure and optimize their entire portfolio of linear TV, OTT, digital and walled garden investments while empowering publishers to effectively align and monetize their audiences with the advertiser’s desired outcome in a consumer-first privacy paradigm.
