Skills Required
- 6+ years experience in storage administration
- Expertise with EMC PMAX/VMAX (Dell EMC VMAX3)
- Knowledge of NetApp storage systems and NetApp DR-drill activities
- Experience with Brocade SAN switches and SAN fabric management
- Storage provisioning for physical and virtual servers
- Auto provisioning in PMAX
- Storage virtualization, disk array configuration and allocation
- Zoning and SAN fabric/switch configuration
- NFS, CIFS and SVM creation and management
- TimeFinder and SNAP hands-on experience
- Software/firmware management and patch collaboration
- Incident and change management implementation
- Migration activities management and monitoring
- Partial storage reclamation experience
- Server and storage decommissioning process knowledge
- Troubleshooting ISL/ICL related issues
- Basic cabling knowledge to guide data center teams
- Vendor management and ability to run PoCs for OEMs
- Preparation of SOPs for storage administration
- Capacity reporting and planning, performance monitoring and reporting
