We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances. The candidate will support the preparation of annual statutory filings, tax compliance and ensure all activities are recorded in line with Local GAAP. This position is integral to building a world-class organisation to support our growing and complex global business. This role requires a highly skilled and ambitious professional who can support various areas within the Finance team.
What you'll do
- Reconciliation of Indian GAAP to US GAAP on monthly basis.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in Zoho Books, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Monitoring purchase invoices and payments and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices, especially for MSME registered vendors.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage Zoho account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations including CIT, WHT, GST and support external audits with well-organized documentation.
- Work with legal and tax team to ensure statutory and tax filings are filed in timely manner.
- Automate reporting and processes for efficiency of reporting and reconciliations.
- Performs other analysis and special projects as assigned.
Key Competencies
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Accuracy and attention to details and preferably to have audit experience.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and Zoho's suite of financial tools.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Google Workspace and Blackline.
- Very high attention to detail; organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Stellar work ethic.
