As a R Clinical Analytics Specialist (CAS), you will be responsible for assisting in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of R packages and RShiny applications. You will work closely with senior CAS members, Statistical Scientists and project leads to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the overall quality and performance of R-based software solutions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior Clinical Analytics Specialist, Statistical Scientists and project leads to design, develop, document, test and maintain R packages and RShiny applications following internal and external guidance’s. 

  • Implement new features and functionalities in R packages and RShiny applications based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Perform open-source and internal R package validation.

  • Write efficient, well-documented, and scalable R code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing R packages and RShiny applications, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in R programming language, R packages, and RShiny framework, and apply new knowledge to enhance existing solutions. 

About you

  • Experience: Experience in Statistical reporting, Statistics, Data Science role within the Pharma Industry or CRO and 3+ years R and Shiny programming

  • Soft Skills & Technical Skills: Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira), version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Education: Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Languages: Highly effective communication in English, both oral and written.
