Cloud Platform Team at Druva drives the backbone of everything SaaS related. This team designs and develops features that cater to both Customer facing needs and internal stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in evolving Druva's architecture, as the company scales further. Key focus areas for the Platform Organization includes Druva Cloud Platform, Product-Led Growth (PLG), MSP Solutions, Ecosystem & Integrations, Licensing, Billing, and Revenue Systems. About Role:
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of software modules owned by the team. Your primary focus will be on the development of all backend server-side components and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well-designed and high-quality code. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams.
Key Skills
- 6+ years of experience, preferably in an S/W Product company.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Go / Python / Java / C++, any modern programming language
- Excellent programming skills along with Data structures, Algorithms, Design Concepts.
- Experience in working with Micro-services
- Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to use AI to generate code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum etc.
- Knowledge of the SaaS and Backup domain will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes will be an advantage.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Play key role in design/development of features.
- Gathering & understanding requirements, working with product managers and other teams.
- Design, develop & implement features independently.
- Mentor and guide junior team members

- B.Tech / B.E / M.C.A / M.E. / M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent
