Key Responsibilities:

Act as a technical leader, guiding the team in architectural decisions, design reviews, and code optimization strategies.
Architect, design, and deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems.
Drive architectural reviews and critical design decisions to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Business, and Ops teams to define priorities and remove delivery roadblocks.
Tackle complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement sustainable, scalable solutions.
Champion best engineering practices, modern tools, and process improvements to enhance productivity and code quality.
Balance product delivery with technical innovation, ensuring both immediate impact and long-term platform evolution.
Own system reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence, improving automation and on-call readiness.
Partner with senior leadership and architects to shape the team’s technical vision and multi-quarter roadmap.
Mentor and guide engineers in design, development, and career growth, cultivating ownership and leadership depth.
Drive execution of large-scale, cross-functional projects end-to-end, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

Skills & Attributes for success:

Strong coding and design skills in Full Stack Tech Java, Golang, React, Angular, Javascript.
Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and system design.
Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB) and messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS).
Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and scalable architecture principles.
Proven leadership in mentoring teams, driving technical direction, and managing delivery at scale.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Growth mindset with a focus on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Education & Experience:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed university.
8-10 years of proven experience building and scaling large, distributed, customer-facing systems.
Prior experience in team leadership or mentoring is a plus.
