What You Will Do:

The Senior Staff Fraud Analytics Consultant will support fraud analytics operations, technical documentation, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and operational support activities as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position will solve structured and diverse problems using standard professional concepts and methodologies, prepare brief technical documents, support recurring work products, and contribute to delivery of analytics, reporting, and project support activities under general direction. 

  • Support fraud analytics operations, project documentation, reporting, operational coordination, and recurring deliverables across multidisciplinary workstreams. 

  • Write brief technical documents, reports, internal work products, analytical summaries, and recurring deliverables supporting fraud analytics and operational reporting. 

  • Apply standard professional concepts and methodologies to solve structured and diverse problems requiring evaluation of identifiable factors. 

  • Support review of fraud-related data, operational information, findings, and reports to identify trends, issues, and follow-up actions. 

  • Assist with requirements development, documentation of analytical processes, preparation of recurring deliverables, and coordination of inputs from team members. 

  • Support data preparation, data quality review, reporting, dashboard development, and documentation activities that enable analytics and decision-making. 

  • Track assigned tasks, coordinate status inputs, and support clear, concise documentation aligned to client standards and project requirements. 

  • Collaborate with analysts, technical staff, project leads, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, exchange information, and support delivery of assigned work products. 

  • Document analytical methods, findings, procedures, and work products to support quality control, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity. 

  • Work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborate closely with government personnel and contractor team members. 

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Information Science, or a related field. 

  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience supporting fraud analytics programs, data analysis, reporting, technical documentation, investigations, business operations, or related consulting activities. 

  • Experience preparing technical documents, reports, briefings, analytical summaries, or recurring project deliverables. 

  • Experience applying standard professional concepts and methodologies to solve structured problems and evaluate identifiable factors. 

  • Experience supporting analysis of datasets, operational information, or system activity to identify trends, anomalies, patterns, or correlations. 

  • Experience coordinating inputs, tracking assigned tasks, documenting work products, and supporting project or analytics teams. 

  • Strong attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week. 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting fraud analytics programs, financial crime initiatives, investigations support, reporting activities, risk analytics, or federal consulting environments. 

  • Experience supporting data preparation, data quality review, extract, transform, load activities, reporting, or analytical dataset development. 

  • Experience using tools and technologies such as Python, R, Java, Linux shell scripting, SQL/no-SQL databases, Spark, Elasticsearch, Parquet, SIEM platforms including Splunk, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. 

  • Experience developing dashboards or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools. 

  • Experience supporting research, documentation, recurring reporting, stakeholder coordination, or technical writing. 

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, collaborative development environments, and federal consulting environments. 

  • Candidate currently possesses an active Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Moderate Background Investigation clearance or has held one within the last six (6) months.
