Job Description:  Application Integration Manager

Experience:

About the role: The Application Integration Manager is responsible for governing, planning, and overseeing application and system integrations within an SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The role ensures integration design, build, and execution are aligned with program timelines, architectural standards, and quality requirements, while acting as a bridge between SAP, non-SAP applications, business stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the end-to-end integration delivery model and governance structure.

- Lead and coordinate integration teams, including integration architects, CPI/PI consultants, functional and technical teams, external vendors, and data teams.

- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and enterprise integration standards.

- Oversee the full integration lifecycle, including design, build, testing, cutover, and postgo-live support. - Manage integration budgets, vendors, and resource planning.

- Develop and maintain integration architecture and integration roadmaps.

- Lead and motivate cross-functional integration teams across business and IT.

- Manage relationships with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring integration quality, performance, and compliance.

- Ensure integrations are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

- Manage integration scope changes through formal change control procedures.

- Exhibit excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate in matrixed, global environments.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate integration risks, dependencies, and performance issues.

- Conduct steering committee meetings, provide status reporting, and deliver executive briefings on integration readiness and health.

- Develop and maintain integration plans, milestones, and deliverables.

- Establish integration governance frameworks, reporting structures, and escalation protocols.

- Facilitate integration design workshops, status meetings, and decision forums.

- Track interface quality, defect resolution, and end-to-end integration testing outcomes.

- Experience and knowledge in retail processes will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience as an Application Integration Manager or Integration Lead in large SAP programs (S/4HANA preferred).

- Strong experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP CPI, PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, and event-based integrations.

- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications across complex enterprise landscapes.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.

- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, middleware governance, and quality assurance processes.

- Proficiency in project and integration management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
