Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead NPI process for new product development (NPD)
- Technology Transfer of new products from design to mass manufacturing
- Drive manufacturing, material and test readiness at "Contract Manufacturers"
- Conduct DFx reviews and process capability to ensure product design and manufacturing processes are capable of meeting the required Bloom quality standards
- Structure and maintain new product BOMs
- Develop assembly work instructions and procedures
- Set clear goals and expectations to ensure all stakeholders are aligned
- Implementation of ECNs and Deviations in manufacturing, contract manufacturers and vendors for various commodities
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA & SCM teams on issue resolution
Education & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering in EEE/ECE
- 10+ years experience in NPI Program Management
- Hands on experience in PCBA and Box builds is mandatory
- Knowledge on various commodities like PCB, Sheet metal, Cable Harness is must
- Knowledge of power electronics such as DC-DC converter and Inverters, is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing-specific roles throughout NPI phases including HW, SW, manufacturing process, Testing and Reliability
- Knowledge of PLM concepts including BOMs, ECN, Deviations
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Ability to relate well to a cross functional team from manufacturing, supply chain, NPI & Engineering
- Ability to work effectively across time zones and support contract manufacturers in different geographies
- Travel: 20%
