Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with data quality frameworks and tools (Soda Core or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Lakehouse architectures and Medallion design.
- Proficiency in AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena) and data validation techniques.
- Able to identify ways to automate their work / repetitive tasks.
Governance & Automation
- Knowledge of data contracts, metadata management, and lineage tools (OpenMetadata preferred).
- Experience in building automated validation and reconciliation pipelines.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive adoption.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver aggressive migration targets.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Work with Jira and agile way of working.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years in data engineering or data quality roles, with at least 3 years in data assurance leadership.
- Experience in financial services or banking domain is a strong plus.
