We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Staff Embedded Software Product Marketing Specialist to lead the planning, development, and lifecycle management of embedded software products. You will serve as the critical interface between customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, reliable, and scalable embedded solutions. In additional, you will work closely with technical support teams to manage key customer programs.

This role requires a strong technical background in embedded systems and software development, a deep understanding of the IoT landscape, and knowledge of security standards and certifications. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to align product strategies with business goals.

Job Description

  • Define and own the product roadmap for embedded software features and platforms.
  • Work closely with technical team to support key customer programs.
  • Translate market needs and customer feedback into detailed product requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, hardware, QA, and design teams to ensure successful development and delivery.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes using data-driven insights and business value.
  • Lead security-related initiatives, ensuring embedded products meet industry-recognized certification standards (e.g., PSA Certified, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, etc.).
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product strategy.
  • Act as a product expert, providing support to sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
  • Manage release planning, product documentation, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are integrated into product design and development

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong understanding of embedded software development (RTOS, C/C++, microcontrollers, firmware, etc.).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience in industries such as automotive, industrial automation, IoT, medical devices, or consumer electronics.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and requirements management systems.
  • Understanding of hardware-software integration and testing.
