- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Java 21, Spring Boot 3, REST APIs, and Kubernetes
- Take end-to-end ownership of backend components — from design to production
- Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines in an agile Kanban environment
- Use observability and monitoring tools to ensure system health, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineers, QA, product owners, and platform teams to enhance our applications
- Influence architecture, best practices, and technical decisions through team discussion
- Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing

- Extensive experience building production-grade Java applications
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, software design, and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and networking concepts
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools and modern DevOps practices
- Ownership of components, features, or systems in past roles
- Fluent in spoken and written English (German or other related languages are a plus)
- Living in Belgrade or is willing to come to the office at least 2 days per week (hybrid model)
