Responsibilities and Duties:
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable Staff Accountant who is ready to gain valuable experience within a high-volume and fast-paced global tech company. In this position, you will manage routine general ledger bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for four of our subsidiary companies. AP responsibilities include timely & accurate processing of weekly vendor invoices, coding, data entry, and issuing payments using multiple payment methods. AR functions include managing credit card merchant activity promptly and accurately along with processing various methods of incoming payments. GL tasks include journal entry preparation, researching questions regarding financial reports, and assisting with the month-end close process.
We need a team player who is willing to “do what it takes,” who is flexible and can manage concurrent tasks/projects. This role is fully onsite within our downtown Seattle office.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be familiar with GAAP and general accounting procedures
- Well-organized and attention to detail is a must
- Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy
- Proficiency with 10-key typing and data entry
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Team player with a positive attitude, accountability, and responsibility
- Reliable and able to multitask and work well in a deadline-driven environment

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, BA is a plus
- 3-5 years experience in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Experienced with MAS/Sage 100 Software a plus
- Experience with multi-currency payment processing a plus

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the base pay for this position is $38-45 per hour. This estimate is dependent on a variety of factors. This position will also include profit sharing, which also depends on a variety of factors.
