Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting
o Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end
close activities.
o Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable related to the assigned division.
o Reconcile bank accounts, inventory and various other balance sheet accounts.
• Project Accounting & Job Costing
o Monitor job costs, labor, equipment usage, subcontractor invoices, and material
charges.
o Review and validate project billings, with a focus on time and materials.
o Monitor project costs to job quotes to monitor for completeness and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
o Prepare monthly divisional financial statements, variance analyses, and management
reporting packages.
o Track KPIs and operational metrics relevant to the division.
• Compliance, Controls & Audit Support
o Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory
requirements.
o Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Cross-Functional Support
o Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for the assigned division.
o Provide financial support and guidance to field management, operations, and
administrative staff.
o Contribute to process improvements and technology upgrades to drive efficiency.

• 1-2 years of experience with job cost accounting systems, Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with construction billing methods.
