About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT). This candidate will be joining our Repo-Technology group, to aid and expand the Repo-Product portfolio, as we continue our global-expansion journey. The right candidate would play a pivotal role in the strategic expansion of the product, besides aiding in all future buildouts and grooming into a techno-subject matter expert on the Repo-space, over upcoming periods.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains
  • Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications
  • Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions
  • Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements
  • Provide technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applications
  • Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
  • Understand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Conduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes and recommend solutions and process improvements
  • Assist other individuals in advanced software development
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ Years of experience in Java, Spring boot, React, Scripting, SQL Server, MongoDB (Development Mastery in Core Java including Data-structures, Algorithms, Multi-threading and exception handling)
  • 4+ years of experience with either Angular or React
  • 2+ years of Capital Market experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience and a strong understanding of database concepts, and expertise in writing efficient and complex queries, and optimizing database performance
  • 4+ years of experience and hands-on experience in messaging technologies (at least one amongst JMS/TIBCO/Solace/Others)
  • 4+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices design principles, with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
  • Experience in testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and Cucumber for writing unit tests and ensuring code quality
  • Experience with CICD, EPL, GIT
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
