We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist in Technology Infrastructure. This role requires a professional with extensive knowledge in both traditional enterprise infrastructure and modern cloud technologies. It will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cutting-edge infrastructure solutions while ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with Sun Life standards.
Preferred skills
- Experience in operating any market leading cloud services, particular AWS preferable
- Certification in AWS preferable
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. At least 3 years of solid experience in performing infrastructure projects, knowledge in virtual sever, storage, VDI, Windows AD domain administration, backup technology, and typical AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lamda, EKS, Cloud watch etc)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Network and firewall, security technology, HA load balancing knowledge in both on-premises and AWS is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in the financial services industry
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across various infrastructure components.
- Optimize system performance and implement best practices for infrastructure management.
- Collaborate closely with Hong Kong project squads to support local initiatives.
- Work effectively with regional and corporate support teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure all infrastructure meets or exceeds Sun Life's security and compliance requirements.
