- Support the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy, annual plans, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives, deliverables, timelines, and performance measures.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure their plans and activities are aligned with the organization’s objectives and brand direction.
- Support the preparation of business cases, strategic presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
- Develop and maintain marketing governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and approval processes.
- Ensure marketing activities follow established organizational policies, brand standards, and delegated authorities.
- Support the implementation of consistent planning, reporting, and documentation standards across marketing functions.
- Monitor compliance with agreed governance requirements and follow up on identified gaps or corrective actions.
- Maintain a central record of marketing strategies, plans, approvals, governance documents, and key decisions.
- Support the development of marketing KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
- Track the progress and performance of marketing initiatives against approved objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Consolidate updates from different marketing teams and prepare regular dashboards and management reports.
- Analyze performance data and provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Identify delays, risks, dependencies, and areas requiring management attention.
- Work closely with Brand, Digital Marketing, Communications, Events, Partnerships, and other relevant teams to coordinate strategic priorities.
- Liaise with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk, and other corporate functions to support governance and approval requirements.
- Facilitate planning workshops, governance meetings, and performance review sessions.
- Prepare meeting materials, document key decisions, and monitor the completion of agreed actions.
- Support clear communication of marketing priorities, policies, and governance requirements across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing planning, governance, reporting, and decision-making processes.
- Support the development of tools, templates, and guidelines that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Benchmark marketing governance practices against leading organizations and industry standards.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and capability-building activities across the marketing function.
