As a Senior Specialist Cloud DevOps Architect, you will serve as a strategic technical leader, architecting the next generation of our highly available, secure, and automated cloud ecosystems. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, mentoring engineering teams while pioneering the integration of AI-driven automation to enhance operational excellence. 

How will you make an impact? 

  • Architectural Leadership: Design, architect, and implement resilient, high-performance system architectures and automation solutions across AWS. 
  • DevOps Strategy:Own the end-to-end DevOps roadmap, including reference architectures, cost modeling, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards. 
  • Security-First Culture:Lead security initiatives and infrastructure audits (SOC2 Type II), ensuring comprehensive protection across networks, systems, and AI-driven application layers. 
  • Continuous Innovation:Drive the evolution of CI/CD environments and evaluate emerging DevOps concepts to maintain a competitive technological edge. 
  • Strategic Advisory:Act as a technical liaison between clients, leadership, and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into executable, scalable solutions. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices as related to AWS and Azure. 
  • Mentorship & Documentation:Champion engineering best practices through technical documentation, system audits, and proactive mentoring of junior and senior staff. 
  • Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and Enterprise Security. 
  • Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support. 
  • Review and audit of existing solutions, design and system architecture and participate in yearly security audits (like SOC2) and penetration tests. 
  • Use of AI in DevOps and Security. 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience: 10 - 15 years in production cloud operations with a mastery of Linux environments. 
  • Cloud & Orchestration7+ years of hands-on expertise in AWS (Azure is a plus) and Kubernetes configuration managementseeking out opportunities to automate manual processes. 
  • Automation Mastery: 7+ years of deep experience with Terraform; 5+ years of experience with Docker and container orchestration. 
  • CI/CD & Scripting: Expert-level proficiency with Python, Bash, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Bitbucket. 
  • Configuration ManagementSignificant experience with Ansible, Salt, Puppet or Chef. 
  • AI Integration: Proven experience leveraging AI tools to optimize cloud operations, security detection, and support efficiency. 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed work environment. 
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation. 
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. 

Preferred Technical Skills: 

  • Networking: Deep understanding of firewalls, load balancers, and routing protocols. 
  • Data Systems: Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. 
  • Observability: Advanced knowledge of Grafana, and Prometheus for proactive monitoring and alerting.
