Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to be based in Tokyo, Japan.This role supports trade-related sales activities and helps enhance the experience of trade partners in the Japan market. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders across Scoot’s commercial teams and external trade partners to ensure smooth sales operations across all sales channels in alignment with Scoot’s policies and requirements.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Working with the HQ Sales team, SOT, and the Japan team to drive POS Japan sales volume and revenue.
Building and managing strong business relationships with external partners to maximize POS Japan sales.
Supporting team managers in streamlining standard operating processes in alignment with Scoot’s policies and requirements.
Delivering effective trade communications to build awareness, maintain engagement, and strengthen partner loyalty.
Supporting commercial and promotional activities in the Japan market.
Requirements
General Diploma, with relevant Sales/Commercial experience in aviation is preferred
Fluency in written and spoken Japanese is required to effectively engage with Japan-based stakeholders, together with business-level proficiency in written and spoken English
Willingness and enthusiasm in learning
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and clear-headed during operational disruptions or crises.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information.
Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
Skills Required

- Relevant sales or commercial experience in aviation
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese
