The Role

Are you passionate about products? Do love to be creative and drive strategic marketing initiatives? The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will function as the marketing subject matter expert for a specifically designated product segment: Towable. This role will be responsible for initiating and monitoring the production of marketing materials (preview sheets, brochures, website, floorplans, show support, POP and decor info) to the area of responsibility.

  • Work with Product Manager and Product Planners to develop and maintain subject matter expertise on assigned product segment.
  • Develop, produce and approve product brochures, including content, coordinating ad agency support, managing photo units, and scheduling photography.
  • Work with interior and exterior styling and vendors to develop and produce decor support materials for websites, District Managers and dealers.
  • Maintain and create product pages on Winnebago.com website. Become an expert in DynamicWeb to assure the website is accurate and up to date.
  • Administer and approve product preview sheets as needed to support new products prior to brochure release. Includes floorplan specific preview sheets for shows.
  • Administer and monitor the department procurement and movement of products used for photography needs. Includes both brochure and lifestyle photography and video. Travel to lifestyle shoots to assure the product is being shown in the correct light.
  • Attend shows to support marketing initiatives and/or product launches. Expected travel: 30 percent.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to determine brochure and marketing support material costs.
  • Monitor status of corporate trademarks to ensure proper usage-including documentation of initial trademark request to the Legal Department and subsequent trademark status changes. Communicate trademark status as needed internally and to advertising agencies.
  • Develop Point-of-Purchase materials and feature specific hang tags for products in the area(s) of responsibility. Work with the Product Manager and Product Planners to determine content, design, and implementation.
  • Assist the training department with the development of materials for Sourcebook.

  • This position may require travel to other Winnebago locations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of one year experience in RV manufacturing required.
  • Willingness to learn about the different styles of Winnebago-branded Towables.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Requires ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • AX Dynamics and DynamicWeb experience preferred, but not required.
  • Should have good communication skills, written and oral, with all departments within the business and outside company partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while maintaining individual goals.
  • Self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude is required.
