The position of Sr. Specialist – Group Portfolio is required to support the development and optimization of the group’s project-oriented portfolio by conducting in-depth financial and operational analyses. The role focuses on ensuring that the group’s portfolio strikes the right balance between risk and reward while aligning with long-term strategic goals.
The incumbent is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of portfolio models, integrating key metrics, and providing alternative scenario plans to aid investment decisions and resource allocation.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of dynamic portfolio models, incorporating discretionary and non-discretionary investments to evaluate various scenarios for the annual work program, budget, and investment projection.
Work with cross-functional teams to collect & structure relevant data for use in modelling & scenario planning, including financial data, project status, and market trends.
Ensure all submissions are collected & comply with frameworks and adherence to modeling requirements.
Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of potential market fluctuations on the group’s portfolio.
Support the preparation of investment endorsement documentation for the Group Management Committee (GMC), ensuring alignment with group strategy and capital allocation priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. master’s degree is desired.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate portfolio management, strategic planning, or investment analysis role.
Advanced knowledge of portfolio management theory, financial modelling, risk management frameworks, and performance measurement tools.
Proficiency in portfolio management software, financial modelling tools (Excel, SAP, Oracle), and data visualization platforms.
Strong analytical abilities to evaluate and integrate complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively cooperate with all stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment is of utmost importance and is a team player at heart.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail while not losing a strategic mindset.
