We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Marketing Analytics Engineering in UPM Marketing, Sustainability and Communications Hub located in UPM Business Hub Wroclaw, Poland.Greetings from your future manager
We are now excited to welcome a Senior Specialist, Marketing Analytics Engineering who is passionate about marketing analytics, data engineering, and AI-powered insights. While this role includes data engineering tasks such as pipeline development and integration, its core focus is on enabling strategic marketing and sales decisions through advanced analytics and KPI-driven insights. What you will do
- Develop and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards as well as manage data pipelines and custom integrations, hands-on
- Understand, interpret and continuously develop marketing KPIs, especially those related to ABM and performance marketing
- Draw actionable, data-driven conclusions to optimize marketing processes and investments, with a clear view toward commercial impact on internal stakeholders (group-level and business-specific views)
- Ingest and transform data from Snowflake and other sources; manage data pipelines and custom integrations
- Implement and test custom events and tracking via GA4 and GTM
- Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) tracking and cookie consent
- Support the development of AI agents for marketing and business insights
- Collaborate in an agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence, and support naming convention framework development
- Demonstrate UPM values and nurture the great team spirit at UPM Marketing, Sustainability and Communications Hub
Who you are
- You have a strong understanding of marketing KPIs and ABM principles, and know how to turn data into strategic insights that support business growth
- You have a relevant university degree and a substantial five-year background and hands-on experience with marketing analytics & data engineering
- You have a very good command of:
- Power BI
- PowerQuery
- BigQuery
- building and managing data pipelines and integrations - You have at least basic understanding of (considered as an asset):
- platforms like Snowflake and Salesforce
- data modeling - You are curious about AI and ready to adapt to AI-driven tools and workflows
- You thrive in agile environments and are comfortable using Jira and Confluence for collaboration and project tracking
- You demonstrate analytical thinking, technical project management, and cross-functional collaboration
- You are a proactive communicator and strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills
- You are highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- You have at least C1 level of English proficiency (verbal and written) and preferably at least C1 level of Polish proficiency (considered as an asset) to ensure effective communication and collaboration with global stakeholders, team and partners, as well as great interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
