We’re looking for a Senior Marine Specialist to lead innovation in power generation and energy optimization across our advanced fleet of containerships. This role is at the forefront of maritime decarbonization—integrating next-generation energy converters, storage systems, and thermal energy management and will allow you to put your fingerprint on the coming generations of container ship design and equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Evaluate emerging technologies for feasibility in newbuilds and retrofits, focusing on emissions reduction, cost efficiency, and operational performance. 

  • Continuously develop and refine models of onboard energy streams to support decision-making for vessel operations, upgrades, and machinery configuration. 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the integration of energy converters, consumers, and storage systems—quantifying savings in both kilowatts and regulatory impact.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven experience in designing and integrating thermal systems 

  • Deep knowledge of marine machinery, propulsion layouts, and onboard energy systems 

  • Strong background in the maritime sector, ideally with containership experience 

  • Expertise in ship propulsion and energy management systems 

  • Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Energy Engineering, or Naval Architecture 

  • Ability to mature technologies by combining technical insight with commercial acumen 

  • Strong project management and collaboration skills 

  • Innovative, self-driven, and safety-conscious mindset 

  • Excellent communicator and team player
