Position Summary:
The Reverse Logistics Senior Specialist is responsible for directing and monitoring activities related to reverse logistics for Samsung products sold through Home Depot. The overall goal of the position is to effectively ensure timely processing of return requests, on time appeal processing, proper communication between stakeholders (Home Depot, Delivery Agents, SECA Teams, Carriers, and Warehouses), and maintain accurate documentation in Samsung’s systems.
The position will be responsible for the creation of SOPs, implementation, and outward training, as appropriate. They will ensure that the policies and procedures set out by Samsung HQ are followed and continuously managed to.
Role and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitor and action outstanding return requests, as initiated
· Daily execution of the reverse logistics processes for Home Depot orders supporting a minimum target achievement for associated KPI’s
· Subject matter expert for Home Depot Reverse Logistics within SECA and partner systems
· Managing to and publishing essential KPI’s
· Coordinate with SECA THD Team for RA (Return Authorization) approvals
· On-site resolution of returns at SECA’s 3PL warehouse, as required
· Partner with SECA Finance for claims / appeals processing on lost units or discrepancies
· Work with SDSCA Team to ensure accurate scheduling and BOL creation in TMS.
· Ongoing communication with SECA sales representatives and customers regarding return orders
· Assist in process improvement projects in areas such as Pricing, FFP, RDD/DF, FOC/EP and Sales Portal, as required
· Assist in the creation of manuals and standard operating procedures
· Assist in training on processes and procedures, to ensure they are correctly followed
· Assist in pricing updates for all divisions, and maintaining EDI orders from customers, as required
· Ad-hoc reporting and various duties as required
Requirements
Education:
Post-secondary education and or equivalent work experience is required
Membership in good standing with an accredited supply chain / logistics designation or similar is an asset
Knowledge:
Customer relationship management skills.
High proficiency in SAP/ERP (SD Module and MM Module) required
Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products
Professional working knowledge of Last Mile Delivery networks and carriers within Canadian market
Experience in relatable consumer market and SKU mix in Canada is an asset
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis experience with demonstrable, verifiable output and report creation is required
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of related reverse delivery experience in logistics
Customer Service Skills
Consumer market familiarity in Canada
