Role Summary:

As a Senior Contingent Workforce Program (CWP) Specialist in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, you will play a key role in the contingent labor program's end-to-end operations, managing the worker lifecycle, including staff augmentation, SOW consultants, and freelance workers. You will oversee the requisition creation, sourcing, onboarding, extensions, conversions, offboarding, management and compliance of a company's non-employee labor force. You will proactively manage the worker and contract lifecycle by partnering with internal and external stakeholders and the contingent labor MSP to ensure smooth operations and provide general oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily CWP operations, including contracting, resource onboarding, assignment modifications, and offboarding.

  • Should have a sound knowledge of commercial and contract negotiation.

  • Safeguard program finances by verifying that all contingent resources are properly backed by active contracts and Purchase Orders (POs).

  • Manage real-time records within the Vendor Management System (VMS) to ensure data integrity across the program.

  • Manage vendor compliance against established Agreements, Rate cards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and expectations.

  • Generate and distribute reports on workforce metrics, program financials, key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain audit readiness.

  • Partner with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to verify accurate worker classifications, perform regular compliance audits, proactively identify co-employment risks and implement improvement plans where necessary.

  • Partner with functions & business leaders to understand workforce demands & provide strategic guidance.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for MSPs to resolve inquiries for internal stakeholders, vendors, and contingent workers.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to optimize program processes and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions.

  • Support regular security and compliance reviews, including profile access audits and worker classification checks, to safeguard system integrity.

  • Maintain user permissions and validate contingent worker data within management platforms (e.g., SAP Fieldglass) to enforce security policies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, supply chain, or related field 

  • 6+ years of related experience in contingent workforce programs, human resources or procurement 

  • Experience with vendor management systems (VMS) such as Fieldglass, VNDLY, Beeline, etc.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral

  • Knowledge of contingent workforce operations and regulations around worker classification and co-employment

  • Prior experience in contingent workforce programs and collaborating with managed service providers (MSPs) and global stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and presentation tools (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint) Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
