Zillow is looking for a Senior Specialist, Corporate Social Media & Content Strategy to help shape how the company shows up across social platforms - connecting brand, business priorities, and culture through smart, platform-native storytelling.
This role sits on the Communications team and reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Social Media. You’ll play a key role in executing and evolving Zillow’s corporate social presence across B2C, B2B, and employee audiences, with a strong focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Corporate social at Zillow is not a distribution channel - it’s a strategic communications tool. This role is for someone who understands how ideas move on the internet, has strong creative judgment, and can balance originality, speed, and brand responsibility. You’ll be expected to bring ideas forward, test and iterate, and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a remote-first, high-accountability environment.
What you’ll do:
Shape and execute corporate social content
Execute Zillow’s corporate social strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms, in close partnership with the Senior Manager
Own day-to-day content planning, publishing, and approvals across corporate channels
Help determine what content belongs on which platform—and why—based on audience behavior, performance data, and cultural context
Bring a strong point of view on formats, cadence, and creative direction
Create and refine content hands-on
Write and edit clear, compelling, platform-native social copy
Be comfortable creating and shaping content directly—writing, refining assets, and occasionally handling light editing when needed (editing experience is a plus)
Spot creative opportunities through social listening, trend monitoring, and cultural awareness
Apply learnings from how leading brands show up on social, without chasing trends blindly or forcing moments
Monitoring, analytics, and insight generation
Monitor performance, conversations, and real-time activity across platforms
Prepare channel-level reporting and contribute to monthly scorecards
Analyze what’s working (and what’s not) and translate insights into concrete recommendations
Project management and collaboration
Manage timelines, workflows, and approvals across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Keep projects moving efficiently in a remote environment, with strong ownership and follow-through
Partner with Communications, Government Relations, Brand, Talent Brand & B2C & B2B marketing teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality
Support community engagement and contribute to real-time monitoring and crisis readiness
5+ years of experience in social media, digital communications, or content strategy
Deep understanding of how content travels on the internet and how audiences behave across platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram
Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent creative judgment and taste
Comfortable being hands-on with content creation; light editing experience is a plus
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Experience monitoring performance and using data to inform creative decisions
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making smart calls without perfect information
Highly self-directed and effective in a remote-first environment
Nice to have
Experience working on corporate or executive social content
Familiarity with social listening and analytics tools
Experience in tech, real estate, or adjacent industries

What We Do
Join our mission to give the people power to unlock life’s next chapter. Our homes are the heartbeat of our lives, and we believe that finding a home shouldn’t be so hard in today’s always-on world. That’s why we’re reimagining the traditional rules of real estate to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next. Our journey began nearly 15 years ago with a handful of employees and one big idea: to make it radically easier for people to move. We began by helping people understand and track their homes with the Zestimate, our proprietary algorithm, and then with advanced technology and valuable connections with real estate professionals. Today, Zillow has become a household name. People are more likely to search for “Zillow” than “real estate,” and our name is often used as a verb. While other industries have ushered in a new era of convenience, the time for seamless and convenient real estate experience is now. This is our next chapter as a company. We’re looking for smart, passionate adventurers to join us as we reimagine the real estate transaction and change the way people buy, sell, rent and finance their homes.
