Position OverviewIn this role , you will play a critical role in overseeing the General Ledger (GL) and Month-End Close (MEC) operations across global regions. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, mitigating risk, and supporting the financial infrastructure essential to scaling the organization’s global operations and supporting strategic business growth through robust financial governance and process excellence.

Work Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST (Second Shift)
Key Responsibilities- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage payroll-related journal entries and accruals (severance, vacation, bonuses, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, Intercompany) to ensure timely financial inputs
- Support external audits by providing accurate data and documentation
- Prepare and review journal entries, cash applications, and reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet flux and income statement variance analysis for management review
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (US, EU, APAC) to maintain accuracy and process alignment
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across finance and cross-functional teams
- Implement and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting standards
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, including 5+ years in month-end close and reporting
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and GL processes; experience with Oracle ERP preferred
- Proven experience managing multi-country financial operations and engaging global stakeholders
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, foreign currency transactions, and FX impacts
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
