Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Spacecraft Vehicle Controller - Analyst (Level 4) to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Position Responsibilities:
- Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
- Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems, systems and new product development
- Derives and develops architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs
- Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product
- Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives
- Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools
- Trains and instructs others
- Works under general direction
- Provide leadership and mentorship across program needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful completion of a certification program (post start) Certification requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training
- 3+ years of experience working with mission operations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Willing to work rotating shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Experience with leading small to medium leading teams and Program Management skills
