We are looking for a Sr. Sourcing Manager with over a decade of experience to architect and lead our global supply base strategy. You will be responsible for the commercial success of our high-volume manufacturing lines by identifying the right partners, locking in competitive cost structures, and mitigating long-term risk.

This is a high-visibility role focused on negotiation, category mastery, and supplier relationship management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Master Negotiations: Act as the lead negotiator for multi-million dollar Master Service Agreements (MSAs). You will define pricing tiers, payment terms, and liability frameworks that protect the company.
  • Supplier Development: Identify and vet Tier 1 global suppliers. Conduct deep-dive business reviews and performance audits to ensure vendors scale alongside our production volumes.
  • Cost Leadership: Drive aggressive "Total Cost of Ownership" (TCO) reductions through competitive bidding (RFx), global benchmarking, and value-chain analysis.
  • Risk Management: Map the multi-tier supply chain to identify and eliminate single points of failure, ensuring that high-volume production is never compromised by regional or vendor-specific issues.
  • Executive Influence: Present sourcing business cases and "make vs. buy" analyses to leadership to drive strategic investment decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Senior-level experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Global Procurement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • High-Volume Expertise: Proven success in sourcing for products that scale from initial launch to sustained, high-output production.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze supplier financial health and commodity market trends to predict and prevent price escalations.
  • Global Footprint: Proven track record of managing international supply chains and navigating global logistics and trade compliance.
  • Contractual Expertise: Deep experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and legal frameworks.
Additional Desired Qualifications
  • Contractual Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of commercial law as it pertains to supply contracts, indemnification, and intellectual property.
  • People Leadership: Experience managing or mentoring a team of sourcing specialists or commodity managers is preferred.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to look ahead to secure capacity before the market tightens.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional sourcing certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
  • May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
  • Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
  • Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
  • Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
