Summary:
In this role, you will have an oversight into Excelerate's MedSurg and Pharmacy Sourcing. You will contribute to all aspects of Excelerate’s strategic sourcing processes, including but not limited to opportunity identification, strategy, contract development, negotiations, and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain relationships with Cleveland Clinic staff and Excelerate members, Vizient stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Develop customized contract strategy recommendations for MedSurg and pharmacy contracting needs.
• Develop and lead Request for Proposals.
• Work independently with the legal team to negotiate terms and conditions of complex contracts.
• Project Management of MedSurg and Pharmacy initiatives.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of objectives and goals.
• Collaborate across the Excelerate team execute on performance objectives.
Qualifications:
• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant contract negotiations experience required.
• Healthcare supply cost management, contracting and coordination of multiple key relationships experience preferred.
• Provider, Supplier or GPO experience desired.
• Pharmacy sourcing experience highly preferred.
• Experience in interpreting data required.
• Established track record of meeting individual and team business goals.
• Ability to coach and support others through leadership and collaborative partnership skills.
• Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
