Senior Sourcer

We are looking for a Sourcer to join our Procurement Team and support supplier sourcing, cost management, and supply capability development.

This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Product Management, and suppliers to ensure sourcing activities support business growth, operational stability, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through structured analysis, supplier collaboration, and practical execution. You do not need to know everything from day one — but we value people who are curious, organized, and willing to take ownership beyond assigned tasks.

This position provides opportunities to gradually develop sourcing capability through supplier exposure, project participation, and cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL  DUTIES  AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Cost Analysis & Sourcing Execution

• Review and analyze component spend, sourcing opportunities, and cost structure then further to set up sourcing strategy.
• Execute RFQ, quotation comparison, bidding activities, and commercial negotiations.
• Support annual standard cost review and cost reduction initiatives.
• Perform sourcing analysis including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), cost comparison, and business case evaluation.
• Maintain sourcing and procurement data in ERP systems (e.g. standard cost, MOQ, lead time, PIR, source list).
• Execute risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies

Supplier Development & Supplier Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage supplier onboarding, approval, and supplier master data maintenance.
• Manage supplier agreements, payment terms, and Incoterms alignment.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, supplier performance reviews, and supplier scorecard activities.
• Maintain supplier records and support supplier-related compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular business review with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement (ex: cost, capacity or operation excellence…) 

Product Sourcing & Project Support

• Work with Engineering to support sample sourcing and component qualification.
• Participate in new projects, product launch, and pilot run activities.
• Support product lifecycle management including EOL control, second source development, last-time-buy execution, and sourcing readiness.
• Manage sourcing-related documentation and approval processes.

Supplier Performance & Operational Improvement

• Coordinate supplier quality-related topics and commercial recovery activities when applicable.
• Support KPI reporting, process documentation, and sourcing operational excellence initiatives.

Sustainability & Business Compliance

• Manage ESG / CSR related activities of suppliers.
• Support environmental and carbon-related data collection where required.
• Assist with company compliance and supplier governance initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Electronics, Business, Operations, or related disciplines.
• 5-10 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Engineering support, or related functions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Business-level English communication capability.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier interaction, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
