Harvard Business Publishing’s Corporate Learning division targets enterprises that recognize leadership development as a source of competitive advantage. The Corporate Learning (CL) team’s expertise is in creating rich, interactive learning experiences that develop leaders who shape their organizations’ futures by making smart decisions at critical moments.

The Senior Solutions Strategist (SSS) is responsible for evolving our solutions in response to client and market needs and in alignment with broader HBP CL strategy. The SSS will represent the overall vision and strategy of our portfolio as well as strategy behind specific offerings. This role entails leading efforts to develop, launch, and evolve our solutions and service offerings, partnering with others across the business to identify gaps and opportunities stemming from market demand or client-led innovation. This role is also responsible for engaging with the Learning Product Group on the development of digital solutions and platforms, bringing the CL voice to influence those efforts.

Reporting to the Director, Solutions Portfolio, this role sits on the Solutions Portfolio team within Strategy Enablement.

What you'll do

  • Represent the overall vision and strategy of our portfolio of offerings from idea generation through execution and measurement
  • Capture the voice of our market through engagement with clients, client-facing teams, marketing, research efforts, client-led innovation, monitoring industry trends, and more
  • Lead engagement with key stakeholders on priorities, key decisions, timelines, and dependencies
  • Develop, monitor, and evolve our solution frameworks and service offerings in response to market needs and aligned to HBP CL business objectives/strategy
  • Maintain and expand our range of solution components and own their cataloging, maintenance, guidelines for usage, and more.
  • Partner with Learning Product Group to bring voice of CL market to influence development efforts
  • Drive discovery work and experiments to identify new capabilities we should invest in to meet client needs, through partnerships or otherwise.
  • Lead launch efforts in partnership with cross functional team
  • Partner with marketing to articulate and refine offering messaging, differentiation and competitive positioning, pricing, and client-facing materials
  • Partner with Enablement team on the development of internal enablement plans and sales tools
  • Support client-facing teams specifically around their needs for solution information and point of view as they interact with clients and prospects
  • Define and monitor measures of success for specific solutions or initiatives

What you'll bring

  • 5-7 years in product management or related field, B2B experience and instructional design experience a plus

$125K - $140K​ annually

Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
