About This Role:
We’re looking for a full-time Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team reporting to the Director, Solutions Engineering. This role is a hybrid role based out of our Hyderabad, India location.
In this role, you’ll play a key role in enabling scalable, high-impact presales execution across Gainsight’s product suite by designing, building, and optimizing demo and POC environments that empower global Sales and Solution Consulting teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Solutions Consulting teams. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in platform configuration and data modeling, SaaS integrations and APIs, and automation-driven solution design.
What You'll Do:
Own Demo & POC Environments: Design, build, and maintain scalable demo and POC environments across Gainsight products (CS, PX, CC, SJ, ST) to support global field teams.
Platform Configuration & Solution Design: Configure and tailor Gainsight to reflect real-world customer use cases, including complex data models, workflows, and integrations.
Data-Driven Demo Storytelling: Translate business scenarios into realistic, data-backed demo narratives with meaningful datasets and workflows.
Demo Platform Administration: Act as the internal Gainsight Admin for Solutions Engineering, managing permissions, configurations, release updates, and overall environment health.
Release & Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, and Ops to validate new features, incorporate updates into demo environments, and surface structured field feedback.
Standardization & Efficiency: Build repeatable demo patterns and standardized configurations to reduce one-off customization and improve delivery speed and reliability.
Technical Extensions & AI Enablement Design custom demo extensions and integrations using APIs, data pipelines, and automation. Leverage AI agents and workflows to improve demo operations, product Q&A, RFP responses, and internal efficiency.
This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role will require occasional travel for team meetings, training, or company events.
What We're Looking For:
4 - 9 years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Demo Engineering, or Professional Services within SaaS environments and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience), required.
Solid technical foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Python (or similar scripting languages), and API/integration patterns
Strong experience with CRM systems, databases, and SaaS integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar platforms)
Gainsight product experience or certification
Proven ability to analyze business requirements and design technical solutions aligned to customer outcomes
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Experience managing demo environments and supporting release-driven updates
High ownership mindset and ability to operate in a fast-changing environment
Nice-to-have skills or experience:
Experience working with globally distributed teams in a multi-product SaaS organization
Experience building or leveraging AI-driven workflows, agents, or automation for operational efficiency
