This exempt position will be a key member of the IT Solutions team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions and integrations to meet the firm's business needs. This position will also support key firm applications and infrastructure such as but not limited to: Intapp Cloud Suite, MS SQL Servers, and NetDocuments.
Essential Duties
- Integrate various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database/application administrators, and managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to custom software solutions and integrations.
- Assist tier 2 and tier 3 support teams in troubleshooting complex issues when needed.
- Maintain integration and solution documentation.
- Manage and escalate issues with outside vendor support if necessary.
- MSSQL Server monitoring and maintenance, monitoring backups, jobs, indexes, performance, and queries.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes in a variety of languages and platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Boomi, PowerShell, CDATA, and other tools as needed.
- Vetting new technologies to see if they meet desired specifications and use-cases.
- Plays a key role in software evaluation, design and usefulness for new and existing software and processes at the firm.
- Research and document business and technical requirements, use-case discovery, and platform analysis.
- Participates in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Works as a lead performing duties as a senior engineer, guiding, and reviewing efforts by other non-leads.
- Works with all levels -- managers, engineers and developers -- and explains new products and its uses.
- Provide technical recommendations and secure solutions to improve productivity and compliance with core applications.
- Continues to develop skills, knowledge and ability to improve processes and procedures as well as to staying up to date on trends and developments in the industry.

Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a large Microsoft environment.
- One+ years in a large law firm environment preferred.
- Individual must have proven expertise in Microsoft SQL, mobile messaging support environments and advanced knowledge of Microsoft internetworking technologies including current Windows Server OS and Active Directory design and support.
- Strong experience designing and implementing IT solutions, including integrations with existing systems.
- Required experience includes legal specific technologies.
- This position requires in-depth knowledge of network operating systems, servers, and physical network components.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming and query languages such as C#, Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience with Intapp IIS and Boomi.
- Experience managing and designing relational database technologies.
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) and cloud-based legal solutions (e.g., Intapp Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or demonstrated relevant work experience).
Physical Demands
Must be able to move around the office up to 25% of the time; Position remains stationary at least 50% of the time. Occasionally moves computer/server equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions
Hybrid environment. Position requires up to 20% travel. This position requires occasional work after normal business hours and on weekends.
