ModMed is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to play a pivotal role in demonstrating our proprietary software, including Practice Management, Patient Engagement, Inventory Management, Analytics, MIPS, and more, to prospective customers and existing clients. As a Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with sales leadership and territory managers to craft personalized software demonstrations that showcase the unique value of our products to medical practices. Your contributions will not only assist in closing deals but also help in profiling prospects and identifying the most suitable training and implementation project plans.

This supportive sales role offers a great opportunity to utilize your deep understanding of medical practice workflows, demonstrate product value effectively, and contribute significantly to our success in closing deals!

Your Role:

  • Perform tailored software demonstrations to medical practices across various market segments, including key, strategic, and enterprise clients.
  • Serve as the primary product and demo trainer for new Solutions Engineers, ensuring consistent excellence in presentation and communication.
  • Act as the Sales liaison for specific products or specialties during interdepartmental leadership meetings.
  • Lead and drive adoption of initiatives, new processes, or special projects across the team, aiming for continuous improvement and streamlined operations.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for new product launches, acquisitions, and integrations, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
  • Achieve the highest metrics in terms of opportunities engaged, Closed/Won %, and successful execution of Special Projects.
  • Perform all other Solution Engineer duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and company.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Requires up to 50% domestic travel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Deep experience in medical practice operations, including leveraging Practice Management software for scheduling, check-in, check-out, billing, and financial reporting OR 2+ years of experience as a Sales Solutions Engineer or similar role, demonstrating healthcare Practice Management software to clients.
  • Direct Sales experience is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical practice operational and financial workflows, along with a strong understanding of healthcare business processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active listener, adaptable, coachable, and a strong communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Naturally curious, engaging, unafraid to ask questions, and passionate about continuous learning and improvement.
  • Recognized as an "Enterprise-ready" professional with a track record being utilized for large deals (Strategic, Strategic plus, and Enterprise markets).
  • Known for being a top presenter of our solutions, exhibiting exemplary client engagement behavior.
