As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will deliver fast, reliable, API-driven integrations for our largest customers by translating business workflows into scalable, repeatable technical solutions. You will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to deliver best-in-class integration experiences that drive adoption and long-term success. This role is primarily customer-facing, with a strong focus on solution design and customer outcomes rather than traditional software development. You'll build integrations primarily with low-code tools, using light scripting where needed.

• Independently design, build, and deliver complex, scalable, and secure integrations between Choco and customer systems using low-code tools (e.g. n8n and Tray.ai).

• Own complex and strategic integration projects end-to-end, from technical discovery and solution architecture to go-live, ensuring quality, scalability, and long-term reliability.

• Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales by leading technical discovery, proofs of concept, and integration scoping, advising on feasibility and solution design for complex customer requirements.

• Act as a technical escalation point, troubleshooting critical integration issues, proactively identifying risks, and driving sustainable solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams, providing technical guidance, documenting integration designs, and influencing product improvements based on customer needs.

• Mentor junior Solutions Engineers, providing technical guidance, sharing expertise, and supporting their development through complex projects.

• Drive continuous improvement of integration architecture, processes, and best practices to increase delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability globally.

• Independently make technical and architectural decisions within complex projects, escalating only major strategic decisions requiring broader alignment.

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, IT/ERP consulting, or systems integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience managing end-to-end API integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support across multiple customer environments.

• Experience with low-code or automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, and Tray.ai.

• Basic programming knowledge (e.g. JavaScript or Python) and working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and data mapping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.

• Excellent communicator with the ability to make complex ideas clear and simple.

• This position requires in-office attendance 3 days per week in our Paris office.

• Experience with the ERP or ordering systems common among food and beverage distributors.

• Background in food distribution, supply chain, or B2B SaaS.

• Familiarity with EDI, SFTP/flat-file integrations, or basic SQL.

• Comfort using AI tools to speed up discovery, documentation, and integration builds.

• Work on digitalizing core operating systems for food distributors, automating orders, sales and payments in a system that still largely runs on calls and spreadsheets.

• Work with an AI product with proven product–market fit, already embedded in distributor workflows and directly affecting order accuracy, speed, and margins.
