You are an experienced, client-focused consultant with a deep understanding of the life, annuity, and financial services industry. You thrive on solving complex business challenges and can confidently navigate the intersection of operations, technology, and business strategy. You have a proven ability to lead discovery and solution definition sessions, act as the voice of the customer, and ensure that client solutions align with both business objectives and enterprise delivery standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead initial project scoping and analysis activities, including pricing exercises and impact assessments.
- Facilitate detailed Solution Definition meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders and materials are included to achieve a cohesive solution.
- Conduct solution planning sessions to align cross-functional teams and ensure clarity in delivery objectives.
- Leverage your knowledge of client implementations, operations, and Zinnia’s business offerings to ensure solutions are practical, aligned, and scalable.
- Act as the voice of the customer—translating business objectives into actionable Zinnia solutions that adhere to our IT and architectural frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency within client engagements.
- Support the estimation and proposal process by clarifying scope, dependencies, and risks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Tax) to ensure comprehensive solution design.
- Assist with internal and external training initiatives to build organizational knowledge and support the ongoing evolution of delivery best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring every client solution supports both strategic goals and operational realities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in the life, annuity, or financial services industry, with significant exposure to both business and technology functions.
- Proven expertise in business analysis, systems analysis, or solution design within enterprise technology environments.
- Deep understanding of the interdependencies between Operations, Technology, and corporate functions such as Finance, Compliance, and Tax.
- Strong grasp of methodologies supporting the planning and requirements phases of the SDLC.
- Knowledge of agile practices and familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Airtable.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Experience leading client-facing solution sessions and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Occasional travel for client meetings or workshops.
