What this role is really about
You will be the person customers call when they need to build something that has to work — at scale, in real time, with no room for “it usually works.”
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Event-driven architecture
- Distributed systems
- Applied AI
You won’t just design solutions — you’ll build prototypes, guide implementations, and help customers get to production.
What you’ll do
- Design real-time architectures for use cases like live events, IoT, digital health, and real-time commerce
- Build working prototypes and demo applications using APIs, SDKs, and AI capabilities
- Run hands-on workshops with customers and engineering teams
- Partner with Sales to shape deals and accelerate adoption
- Translate customer needs into product feedback for Engineering
- Create reusable architecture patterns and technical assets
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, or a deeply technical customer-facing role
- Strong coding ability in JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with real-time or event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, WebSockets, streaming)
- Ability to work directly with customers and engineers to design and build systems
- Curiosity about AI systems (LLMs, RAG, automation workflows)
What success looks like
- Build reusable prototype applications that accelerate deals
- Help customers move from concept → production faster
- Influence architecture decisions across enterprise customers
- Contribute to product direction through real-world use cases

- Not a pure demo role
- Not pre-sales only
- Not an implementation-only role
- Not isolated from Product or Engineering

Skills Required
- 5+ years in technical architecture, solutions engineering, or product management
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications for Web or Mobile platforms
- Strong coding fluency in at least one modern language
- Experience driving technical pre-sales or leading cross-functional delivery
