As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on expertise to lead the design and evolution of our digital and enterprise architecture. This pivotal role will drive the modernisation of our e-Commerce platform, CRM/marketing stack, and customer engagement technologies, while strengthening our cybersecurity posture and optimising total cost of ownership (TCO) across the IT estate.
 
You’ll work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering, and vendors to define architectural direction, align solutions with business objectives, and guide execution through well-structured roadmaps.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
·       Lead major transformation projects, including:
 
 o   Replacement of legacy e-Commerce platform with a modern, customer-centric solution.
 o   Implementation of next-generation CRM and marketing automation ecosystem.
 o   Development of a roadmap for unified customer data and personalisation capabilities.
 o   Strengthening identity, access management, and data protection layers.
 o   Migration from legacy systems to cloud-native or SaaS alternatives.
 
·       Define and govern architectural roadmaps during large-scale transformations.
·       Ensure solutions balance innovation, complexity, and cost-effectiveness.
·       Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, influencing decisions at all levels.

Skills & Knowledge:
 
Essential
- Significant experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
- Proven track record in architecting customer-facing digital solutions (e-Commerce, CRM, CMS, MarTech) within retail, luxury, or similar B2C industries.
- Deep knowledge of modern technology stacks: Commerce, CDPs, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs/microservices, and integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and their integration into solution design.
- Ability to balance innovation, complexity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
 
Preferred
- Experience in luxury, fashion, or high-end retail environments.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Shopify, SAP Commerce, Manhattan.
- Exposure to transformation contexts with significant technology debt.
- Knowledge of IT cost optimisation techniques and vendor management.
